Marv Koppen for Maplewood City Council

I am proud of my activity in our community.  In addition to my service on the City Council, and my service as mayor pro tempore, I have also served as president of the White Bear Avenue Business Association, and the East Park Lions and most recently on the Maplewood Business & Economic Development Commission.

Other service to the community includes the 2008 Winter Carnival East Wind; Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts Committee Chair; NEST Board; Suburban Rate Commission, Cable Commission; and the Ramsey County Charter Commission. 

I am a long time Maplewood homeowner and business owner.  My wife Marilyn and I, along with our three children, live in the Stanich Highlands neighborhood.  I earned my B.S. degree from Mankato State University.
